La Teste-de-Buch [la tɛstə də byʃ] is a commune in south-western France, near Arcachon in the Gironde département, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It is part of the historic region of Gascony. It is one of the largest communes in France in terms of surface area.

Well-known for its majestic Pilat Dune, La Teste de Buch offers a wide range of activities all year round.

Here you'll find all the facets of the Bay of Arcachon in one town.

Climbing the Dune du Pilat is like taking a ticket to admire one of the most beautiful views in France!

Venture beyond the steps, and you'd never know it was a natural monument in full movement and an open-air history book.

From the top of the 110-metre-high tower, you can admire a magnificent panorama of the Banc d'Arguin, the forest and Cap Ferret.

On the other side, the pine forest stretches as far as the eye can see.

The Dune du Pilat isn't only open to visitors in summer, so don't hesitate to book your Allô VTC VIP Services private chauffeur to discover it in a different light during the other seasons.
